Work Experience

REALTY.COM – UI/UX Architect

Deerfield Beach, FL,  November 2016 – February 2018

First time working with a startup company, I was intrigued with the project and my background in real estate technology was helpful.  I worked with the owner directly and a small dev team to ground up build the site.  I was responsible for wireframes and visual design and some QA here and there.  It was a really fun project and a great team to be a part of.

Delray Beach, FL,  October 2013 – Present

Started this company with my best friend in 2013 with $30,000 dollars and a desire to get people off cigarettes.   In the beginning I was working my corporate job during the day running the shop at night.  It wasnt long before the business took off and I needed to leave the corporate world.  My partner wanted to travel so he took his profits and I continued to grow the business.  Once I created the infastructure in the shops where they were autonomous, I shifted my focus into distrubtion and manufacturing.  I built out a warehouse where I could manufacture eliquids and do order fullfilment for the shops.  I created the branding, website, mobile app and did all the photography for social media.  What started out as two guys in a small shop in Delray, is now a highly profitable business with 5 locations and over 25 employees.

Boca Raton, FL,  July 2012 – January 2015

It was great to be on a dedicated UX team with a large budget for usability testing.  While I was there I completely redesigned the shopping cart which included Paypal integration and the Checkout process.  I also designed and implemented single sign on through social media.  It was a great learning experience going through the aquisition of Office Max and transitioning from Waterfall to Agile.

Boca Raton, FL, September 2006 – July 2012

I started with this company doing HTML and CSS changes to be compliant with the different MLS requirements.  While this wasnt the most exciting work it did open the door some amazing opportunities.  I designed to first ever REMAX mobile UI, worked on the Coldwell Bankerm and ERA website redesigns.  I also worked on Homes Connect which won the IT Innovation award in 2011.

Bernice Steinbaum Gallery – Graphic Designer

Miami, FL, January 2004 – September 2006

Designed invitations for gallery exibits, worked directly with the artists tranforming their vision into print.  I designed a book, I Witness,  for a photojournalist exhibit that really came out nice, I love showing it off and always happy to bring it to a meeting.
